New synthesis routes for drugs

PLASMIA is a biotechnology company dedicated to researching new, more efficient synthesis methods for different types of drugs.

The technology, patented by PLASMIA, is based on the use of enzymes that catalyze the synthesis reactions of nucleoside analogues in a single step, thereby obtaining products more quickly and efficiently, while generating less waste.

Currently, PLASMIA is working on the development of synthesis pathways based on the use of a wide variety of enzymes to improve the production of different types of drugs , other than nucleoside analogues.

PLASMIA technology can also be used in different stages of the DrugDiscovery process , either in the production of libraries of new molecules or in the modification of these molecules to obtain compounds with greater biological activity (Hit to Lead campaign and Lead Optimization).
